Bachelor Degree Programmes Entry Qualifications

 A) Direct Entry Qualifications 

i)  For those who completed A-Level

       Studies before 2014.

Two principal passes with a total of  4.0

points (where A=5: B=4: C=3: D=2: E=1)

ii) For those who completed A-Level

     Studies in 2014 and 2015.

Two principal passes with a total of  4.0

point s (where A=5: B+=4: B=3: C=2:

D=1: E=0.5)

iii) For those who completed A-Level

      Studies in 2016 and later years.

Two principal passes with a total of  4.0

point s (where A=5: B=4: C=3: D=2: E=1)    

B. Equivalent Entry Qualifications

i) At least four (4) ‘O’ levels pass with
D grade and above or equivalent Foreign      
qualifications as certified by NECTA,
AND a GPA of at least 3.0 for Ordinary      
Diploma (NTA Level 6); OR

ii) Average of C grade for Full Technician
Certificate  (FTC) (where A=5, B=4,        
C=3, and D=2 points); OR

iii) Foundation programme of the
Open University of Tanzania (OUT) with a        
minimum GPA of 3.0; OR

iv) Any other recognized degree.

1. You will use your form IV Index number and Form VI Index number for verifications of your education details

B. For Applicants with Foreign Certificate (ACSEE Equivalent) Certificate

1. You are required to have your ACSEE Equivalent index number.
2. You are required to have a valid and working personal email address.

C. For Applicants with Ordinary Diploma/ Equivalent to Ordinary Diploma (FTC & Others)

1. Applicant Verification Number (AVN) from NACTE Awards Verification System (Apply Here for AVN))
